Vinnie Mestrige Sumith is an experienced customs, import, export, supply chain, logistics, and SAP SD professional. He has worked for blue-chip companies in London and Birmingham, leading complex projects. Vinnie has knowledge in various customs systems and automation, SAP MRP/ERP system, and data analytics. He is skilled in consulting customs automation solution providers, preparing companies for customs audits, and evaluating and improving processes. Vinnie has expertise in customs compliance and governance, special customs procedures, transits, origin, quotas, and licensing. He has held various positions in customs, export, and shipping operations. Vinnie holds an MBA from Keele University, UK, and a BSc in Industrial Management and Information Technology from Keleniya University, Sri Lanka. Also Vinnie has passed the Module One of Level 5 Diploma in World Customs Compliance & Regulations of the Institute of Export and International Trade.
